It wasn’t a straight line... but here’s how I got here.
Marketing wasn’t some lifelong dream. It was one of those college picks you make when you're not totally sure what direction to go. But once I got into the actual work and started learning the ropes, I realized it hit all the things I’m drawn to: creativity, problem solving, helping people grow. When I landed at an agency, I started getting results fast. Not just meeting goals, but passing them up. That’s when it clicked for me that I liked it.
After a few years in the agency world, I hit pause, packed up my car, and drove around the country. I camped in the backseat, explored national parks, and cleared my head. That trip gave me space to reset, and it made one thing really clear. I like doing this work. I just wanted to do it in a way that felt more like me.
Now I run my own thing. Just me, staying hands-on and focused. I keep communication simple, show up when I say I will, and deliver more than expected. I work best with people who are open to trying new ideas and actually want to make progress. If that sounds like you, we’ll get along great.
